Veterinary Tips: Use Online Vet Advice Wisely

The Internet can be a great source of pet care advice.  It can also be a risky source and should never be the only one used.  Nothing can replace good veterinary care because your pet's vet sees things in person and can observe the way you and your family interact with your pet.  Pet owners typically seek online advice for medical and behavioral issues.  They may feel that an online search will offer a faster, less expensive option than calling or visiting the vet.  But if you get bad advice online, you can complicate the original issue and it may actually cost you more time and money to resolve it.  Use online advice in conjunction with your pet's veterinary care.
