Meet Our Veterinarians
Our veterinarians are affiliated with local, state, and national veterinary associations. Many hours are spent by the doctors at many continuing education seminars and programs.
Contacts are maintained with specialists in internal medicine, dermatology, cardiology, radiology, ophthalmology, surgery, and neurology for consultation and referral of those patients requiring special care.
Dr. Mark T. Reilly graduated with a BS in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire and received his DVM from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. He interned at equine surgical facilities in New Jersery at the New Jersey Equine Clinic and in California at Chino Valley Equine Hospital. He worked the East Coast Standardbred Circuit immediately upon graduation and continued working on top stakes horses in Florida and New Jersey/New York race tracks. He moved to Delaware Park to work on thoroughbred Racehorses and racing Arabians. Next, he was on to Cape Cod to a mixed practice, as well as racing at Foxboro Raceway. He opened Mid-Cape Animal Hospital in November of 1997. In the winter of 1998-1999, he began going to southern Florida to work on racehorses in training as well as show horses. Dr. Reilly has worked on rodeo horses, barrel racing horses, show jumpers, dressage horses, show ponies, and even draft horses and Kentucky Derby winners. He enjoys working on all types of horses all over Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In the winter of 2006, he opened South Shore Equine Clinic with Dr. Linda Cimetti in Plympton, MA. This new large animal facility offers the latest in equine care including one of 15 MRIs in the country!
